A good question. Freezing is not the same as seizing, and it's not even clear in which countries all those alleged Tether dollars are or in what form they are held If it's true that Tether is based on fractional reserves, then having the US freezing their customers' assets seems helpful for Tether, as they will have more free assets to use |
