I do this with my possessions, but I will say that my house is pretty spartan as a result. Having a million knick-knacks and random junk around is sort of nice. When I go to someone's place and they have stuff everywhere (in a reasonable way, of course), it definitely makes it more homey. But all that stuff needs to be dusted constantly or you feel like you're in a mauseleum.

Also, I tend to put it in a box in the garage to be given away later, which I never seem to get around to.

Off topic, but this should be codified as law for all AI-powered decisions. If someone's automated car runs into the back of a firetruck, the owner should be considered negligent unless proven otherwise.
