The right has no identity right now, which is why someone like Trump could take it over. Depending on what happens in the next few years it could well be that they become the party against power. Which would be a rather interesting inversion from the last 40 years. Which raises a lot of uncomfortable questions for people whose world was informed by Reagan, Thatcher and Bush. |
