Some people have poor math skills and low impulse control; some people have great math skills and high impulse control; and some people have great math skills, high impulse control, and a high priority on having a car without owning a car. Between the 3 groups, the company might be able to find enough customers to make it happen. Given the egregious profit margins baked into their model, they don't even need to find that many to make it happen. |
