Selected Reddit Comments (to save the clicks) You're a security researcher and your proof is a Windows Defender screenshot? & Posting Windows Defender screenshot seems very solid proof yeah, congrats for your advanced analysing and reverse engineering technics. & While Kaspersky, Bitdefender or any other leading antivirus keeping silent, Windows Defender (aka false positive king) found the hidden, unknown exploiting technics that being triggered from checkpoints. & "security researcher" never hard of virustotal. i checked your file on there, wd is the only one that flags it.. & False positives are extremely common for antivirus engines. Unless you have some sort of real proof, this should not be taken as evidence for anything. Moreover, I looked into the 1604 file. It's just a packed array of 512 32-bit floats around 1.0; extremely unlikely to contain malicious code. |
