It's because we use/need a bunch of extra measurements to fit breasts. We don't require extra measurements for fitting the groin (although we do have options in relevant designs to create more or less room there). That being said, it's a fair point. Most of the sewing world is still rather strictly segregated between menswear and womenswear. We try to remove that distinction and just deal with bodies, but it's an ongoing journey. We're not there yet, but we'll keep at it. |
