i spent thousands of hours working on one of those open source CAD projects, and i made about 100 dollars. eventually i had to get a "real job", a job where i can't really be doing domain specific open source stuff without a potential conflict of interest. on the plus side, i just bought a couch without having to worry about whether i can eat dinner. |
