The atomisation of culture is evidence enough for me to believe that this erosion of worship is already under way. Its so much more diffuse. The cultural icons we each follow is so diverse already. I can imagine AI generated icons that only get to continue to persist if they can adequately capture the attention of X amount of productive apes. |
