step 1: make sure you boss's goals are aligned with yours
step 2: make sure you boss will have your back and clearly communicates how aggressive they expect you to be.
step 3: have goals that focus on topline revenue not bottom line cost/risk
step 4: ensure your performance evaluation doesn't become political if you can't get steps 1..4 find another job. |
