Backing not just 1 but 2 investments of Neumann seems strange. Having said that, there must be some due diligence or arbitrage identified. I wouldn't write this one off.
I'm also perplexed. A16z can't be plain stupid and throw good money after bad - they must know something. Externally, WeWork and Neumann seem extremely toxic, so I'm very curious to learn what that thing is.
