I agree with you. When I travel I just take a tablet for some reading on the flight and maybe some light HN reading before bed. To do actual work, I kind of like my split keyboard, mouse, and 32 CPUs. I don't bother trying to get a ton of work done on the road; if I need to talk to someone in another state or country for work, we have video conferences now. It's amazing how much shit you get on HN of all places for sitting at your desk programming. |
