I heard that one way to check quality is to look at the type of capacitors used on the board. Capped are cheap and don’t last long (they have a vent on top) and when they blow they spread white residue on the board. The solid capacitors don’t suffer from this, last much much longer but do cost a bit more. Ps. Maybe someone with more electrical knowledge than I can confirm or debunk this? |
