Well if your IP address is that much of a security risk for you, then I hope you have the discipline to never visit anything without vpns/proxychains.

No your credit card does not. Your credit card can show one of your office address for example and be very legit. You can possibly losing some very wealthy customers, or customers who are victims of domestic violence. They don't want their sleeping address in a database because of crazy fans, stalkers and more. Many addresses in various services are very likely to eventually be sold by some ad tech / marketing company one day, where for the low price of $1-$50 you can get all the info you want about people.

But in your B2B use case you'll just say setup an office VPN proxy and make it look like your coming from the office ISP connection.
