Something that would be REALLY useful would be to have indications of food allergy ingredients found in the menus of restaurants. It's really disappointing to hear about a great restaurant, and then find out that they have something that causes severe[1] reactions on the menu and so we can't go there. There are several lists of common allergens on the web. There are enough that perhaps it would be better to let you specify the ones you care about, and either mark them prominently, or just don't show them. 1. By "severe" I mean that someone who got even a small fraction of, e.g., a peanut could die from anaphylactic shock. It's real. |
