200 lines a day is ridiculous. A good programmer isn't just someone who writes a lot of code. I'd rather hire someone who writes 3 lines a day, but fixes bugs on the way, than someone who writes 200 lines without proper testing, leaving others to fix the mess. Lines of code is a terrible metric. |
