Magazines like Byte and Creative Computing were perceived as ephemeral by libraries, particularly academic libraries, and were discarded quickly. My mom threw most of mine out when I went to college. In the mid 1990s I tried to get 1979 issues of Creative Computing and couldn't find any academic libraries that could offer them for interlibrary loan. |
