This, so much. In my opinion cooking is equal parts mindful practice, science, and art. Probably my favorite cooking book is one that doesn't have more than maybe 5-10 recipes in about 900+ pages : Harold McGee's On Food And Cooking Seeing yet another site claim to make it more enjoyable / "build communities" by ... presenting more recipes ... it just feels like mis-clicking on one of those Facebook feed "news" articles from some clickbait outlet. |
