The most interesting thing about this hack was that most of the money drained was taken by people running copycat transactions of the original exploit to steal tokens held in the bridge contract. No code or solidity knowledge needed, just people (mostly bots) noticing the hack going on and pulling their own share of sometimes millions of USDC and other tokens by just changing one parameter (destination wallet address).
