What is the cost of this capability in terms of a browser's memory footprint, performance and security? In other words, if the browser could omit this capability would it be significantly smaller, faster and more secure? If that were true, then perhaps there should be a "pro" or "enterprise" version of the browser at a different price point. Most users can easily limit themselves to about 10 tabs. |
