Anecdote, but a few weeks ago I was on an Amtrak commuter train waiting to get off, and a bunch (half dozen) of smokers waiting near the exit with me unanimously agreed that smoking and vaping are comparably harmful, and some even went to say that vaping is worse. Selection bias, though, and one of them claimed to be a 2-3 pack a day, for decades. |
