This reminds me a lot of Conway's law: > Any organization that designs a system (defined broadly) will produce a design whose structure is a copy of the organization's communication structure. If we apply this law backwards, microservices reflect an organizational structure with many teams working on different things so they'd make more sense in that context rather than within a small team. |
