This is a real shame. I met many interesting people on VR chat. Some were exploring identities that only a virtual world would allow them to. Mods enabled these people to lose themselves in the fantasy of their identity. I heard sad stories about how VRchat was where they could be themselves.

They're going to lose that opportunity now. For what? Tighter control so VRchat can engineer their own knock off mods? Greedy. Sad.
