Because if you have to use it all the time for MFA when the phone is lying on a desk, it's really great not having to pick it up every time.

Our work is going a bit crazy with MFA timeout now and I'm really happy with my in-screen fingerprint reader.

No problems with it on the OnePlus 8 by the way, it's accurate and fast.

Why not have the "MFA" on the machine you are working on? They have chips for authentication that run independent of the rest of the machine.
That's not supported by our system sadly. It's this or enter an SMS code.
