Well, they did it on the T440. I don’t think it will last more than a single generation this time, either. There’s usually a good one every few years. The big problem with the T440 non-buttons was not even the tactile feel — I might have been able to get used to that, humans can adapt to pretty awful things — but that you couldn’t turn the touchpad off without losing your ability to click things. I guess it’s the same this time. |
