In case you’re serious, it’s because the costs outweigh the benefits. Specifically, the benefits would accrue to everyone, while the costs are borne by the individuals doing the “fighting.” This is known as the free rider problem. Realistically, there’s not much an individual can do to change an entire society. Moving to better circumstances, however, is a realistic alternative.

You're right in the short term. But if people don't leave, at some point, a critical mass of people will emerge that will be able to change society.
