It not the organic nutrients (amino acids etc.) that are low as a result of fast growing crops, it the inorganic nutrients that are low, i.e. metals. Faster growth of the plant means less time to absorb from the ground. I've no idea how that affects hydroponics, but practically none of the food I eat is hydroponic so that is moot. |
