I mean you can fault them for "Max < Ultra" but once you get over that the naming is about 100000x easier than anything out of Intel/AMD/Qualcomm. M1: (base), Pro, Max, Ultra, <maybe Mac Pro chip?> M2: (base), Pro, <one would assume we will ge Max/Ultra as well> Compared to the competition (or rather, other chip makers since Apple doesn't sell it's chips) this seems way easier. |

I mean there was another comment on this thread that had to clarify that when they said "M2 Pro" they had meant the "MacBook Pro with M2" not a future "M2 Pro" chip.
