I bet you could rig a water cooling pump to run off a 12v power tool battery, and completely remove the need for dangerous wall AC power from the equation.

They actually make pumps that run off of power tool batteries. No rigging required. E.g. RYOBI One+ 18V Hybrid Transfer Pump P750

They also make battery-to-12VDC adapters, and there are plenty of 12v barrel jack fountain pumps.

Don't even have to break out the soldering iron!
