We're reworking our website right now and can't figure which CMS to use.

There is just so many products out there from visual builders to static website generators.

So... what is HN using?

What are you trying to achieve? What’s is the skill level of people who will add content? Will some content be gated? Do you need flexibility to change layouts depending on content?

Also, do you have developers available to work on the website? Do you have designers available? How many viewers do you expect? How often do you publish?

Guessing its for a company? If its more than one person, and anyone's not a dev, then just do Wordpress. It has the biggest market share of plugins, coders, hosts, etc.
