Even the FDA presenters to VRBPAC (Peter Marks? Can't remember exactly) admit it. That's even without spillover and spillback between humans, deer, cats, etc. This type of virus is absolutely not a candidate for eradication, even the most optimistic predictions from before the pandemic would have required the periodic stamping out of spillover related outbreaks across the world for the foreseeable future. |
