It looks perfect(as a c# developer standpoint). I wish I could use it to make cross-platform desktop application but it's only gnome distros I guess.

You actually can use it to make cross-platform applications. GTK is cross-platform.

They should mention about it on the front page!I mean vala is looking pleasant to work with other than c++. So is there any resource to follow along? Can I create an app in macOS with vala sdk?
