This is fairly old. I have no idea whether or not it still applies. I have also found that discrete teams, within a company, can have radically different cultures. That said, game development has long been known as a "labor of love," with emphasis on "labor." In the 1980s(!). I was recruited by Sierra Online. Even though I thought it would be cool, I consulted enough game developers to get talked out of it. |
