I think it's worth spending a few weekends with Rust, even if it's just to expose you to some of the concepts in the language. Beyond things like borrow-checking; the language introduces a LOT of concepts that are quite foreign. Exposing yourself to them is good; because I expect that future languages will borrow heavily from Rust. |
