To be more precise: 5 countries represent 96% of EU uranium imports: Niger (24,26%), Kazakhstan (22,99%), Russia, Australia and Canada. A country like France has 1-2 years of uranium stock for its electricity production. Dependence on Russia is way less critical for uranium than gas. |
