FYI many large companies have apprenticeship type programs for non traditional candidates. As an example https://amazontechnicalacademy.com/ is a direct path to entry level SDE work. As I recall it’s a full time program that includes a reasonable stipend while you’re active. Edit: I think the training is all virtual/vtc these days. On completion some job offers may require relocation, but there are many full and par time remote positions globally. |
