Check out ACMI in Fed Square. They have a section of the "story of the moving image" exhibition on the evolution of video games (https://www.acmi.net.au/story-of-the-moving-image/videogames...).

AFAIR it's not exactly "consoles in display cases" like at powerhouse, but they probably don't have the kit
