The political coordinate plane is an interesting one, because it's often presented in an implied context of "what would I choose as my government, were I to decide its nature and orientation," which is a strangely liberal mindset about politics. The idea that choices are made, and not that circumstance and history create in political culture. Is it possible for a political axis to exist with sufficient dimensions to accurately represent the qualia of a historical political movement? Or is all of this fact-based description of something that has a larger existence? |
