npm is so tiresome. It did what it had to do for a long time but it's just a bear to deal with at this point. You ever tried installing a package from Github with npm? It literally takes likes 5 minutes on my M1 mac checking for vulnerabilities. Some time ago I switched to pnpm and will NEVER look back. |
