On the other hand, that article points out that it proceeds to save lives (in the form of reduced traffic fatalities) during the rest of the time that it's in effect. And the springtime negative effects are due to the change to DST, not DST itself. The better goal, perhaps, would be end standard (winter) time, not daylight saving (summer) time. |
