As I have posted elsewhere here, as a fact-on-the-ground 'discovery' is highly over-rated and over-emphasized. It is much easier to connect with 100 people deep enough to get them to come to a show than to connect with 1,000 or 10,000. This idea that music should and can function like spam email doesn't actually work in the real world. |
