From my observations, Poettering is not a person who kindly answers his e-mails.

Your observation strongly differs from mine then. Poettering has always been fairly reachable and is easy to communicate with. That might have changed following the torrent of abuse a minority of the Linux community threw at him. I hope it’s not the case.
