I'm just surprised no one mentioned https://martinfowler.com/bliki/MonolithFirst.html yet :-) Nano actually did (and does) make sense from access control perspective - if a service has permissions to do one thing and one thing only, it is much harder to escalate from. But I'm not sure if these benefits outweigh the potential complexity. |
