I have CFS and to try and combat it I am experimenting with a low carb diet. This restriction takes a lot of thought out of meal prep as every meal is protein and veg/salad. Nothing gourmet required. There are plenty of keto treats and zero calorie but tasty drinks (some based on just native plants) to scratch the sweet tooth itch. It has been working well to quench a lot of CFS and also I am losing weight through better hunger regulation although that isn’t a primary goal (but I am overweight so it is not a problem). Two burgers, sans bun, an egg and salad is super filling and like 500 calories or so. |
