More like a landlord doing renovation, feeling the budget crunch, and looking at the calendar and realizing "Oops! I forgot to raise rent in the past 7 years!" The price increase they're asking for is approximately equal to inflation from 2015-2021. They don't even try to include the last year's inflation. |
