Your comment seems to be true of US big tech, but at Australian startups, no one is worried about being too friendly and getting canceled. Where I work the managers and execs attend these parties too and no one is afraid of saying the wrong thing. Walking on eggshells in US big tech just doesn't seem worth it. |
