My 2c: Anki got it right with [$] ... [/$]
[$$] ... [/$$]
I often change the mathjax defaults to these in my own documents. Never ever had a clash.Worst case scenario? If you need to type a literal "[$]", insert an empty span or something. No need to mess with "backticks vs no backticks" semantics at all. |
