Maybe 5% of my work needs that experience, the rest is protobuffer data copying and following / writing documentation. But what's more important that I loved to work with other people who had great mathematic and algorithmic background, and I trusted them not to make my code perform worse. At the startup I had a colleague who was making a lot of mistakes (and dating multiple girls during work hours on his phone instead of focusing), and it was very frustrating to find out that I spent a lot of time debugging these mistakes. |
