Not sure how relevant it is but the two examples you linked really aren't that comparable, the EBay one you linked is a significantly cheaper construction. That said I do agree, I think EBay ends up being better than Amazon for many items, I'm just not sure this is a great example. The one I linked is the second one in the Amazon search results, but then the first one is a lot better so I'm not really sure if this cheap one should be first anyway.
