| This seems to describe an egotistical person. If we're using genius in the sense of "Mensa people" then it probably a pretty accurate statement of how they view things. If you're considering genius as someone who not only has higher than normal cognitive functions, but also is able to leverage that in to actual understanding it would be different. People are not blind, they just cannot see over the fence. They just aren't held to any expectations. Without expectations people will never grow to see over the fence or find something to stand on to see. Instead we construct a system in which we convince people they are blind, and most people want to accept the reality that they are presented. The world is not in slow motion at all. It's fast, too fast. People act to quickly, knee jerk reactions for things where they lack sufficient information to make a reasonable decision. The world moves slow only to those who have yet to comprehend there are things they still do not know. This happens because of the above 2 points. Hubris in that if only people would listen to MY genius ideas and if they all weren't so blind and slow I would no longer be depressed. Consider how that reads. Very sophomoric view of things. As genius I would disagree with all of your points. Those are the views of an egotist. Constant wonder and amazement. That's how life is as a genius. There are infinite puzzles to solve. There is complexity in the smallest things we can find. |
Now go away, please.
