Sure, I've been using RSS (or Atom) for... probably around 18 years or so. In that time, I've moved from Thunderbird to Liferea to Google Reader to Newsblur. I subscribe to many feeds related to my work, but also various Google Alerts and general news sources. I don't do much publishing to RSS, except for making sure that my (currently very neglected) blog has RSS and Atom feeds available. I can't think of any burning pain points, off hand. |
